A large and very attractive late 17th Century walnut cushion framed mirror, Dutch/Low Countries c. 1700, with beautiful marquetry inlays in satinwood, harewood, walnut, ebony and sycamore depicting tulips, lotus flowers and foliate inlays.
The deep cushion frame with stepped and channel carved borders in very good condition throughout with only minor dings and marks. The mirror with original oak back boards and original hefty hand wrought iron hanging loops.
With provenance from the estate of a Lady of Title, the later mirror plate with some age and an attractive silvered hue.
A beautiful mirror, large, striking and in very good condition for age.
