Full Description
A very pretty 19th Century table, French, and made from a beautifully coloured fruitwood and dating from around 1880. The three plank top with two drop leaves which rise and are supported on pull out lopers with original iron ring handles.
The table has lovely ring turned legs set slightly splayed which terminate in original small brass casters.
There is some very old dark staining at one end of the table along with knocks and marks and these are part of its history and the whole table has developed a deep natural sheen from years of use, cleaning and wax.
Practical and usable and a very pretty provincial table of great charm.
